Homeless Digga’s Support Group is a Townsville-based community group supporting veterans and their families who are going through difficult times or experiencing a loss of connection and belonging.
Our Purpose
Supporting Defence veterans through genuine connection.
Homeless Digga’s Support Group helps and supports Veterans and their
families who are going through tough times. We help these heroes with
social activities, brotherhood, mateship, mentoring and fun times.
We have veteran members from all services Army, Air Force and Navy. We
have families and friends of these veterans – wives, partners, children and
grandchildren who also assist in supporting the veterans and their families
through their own lived experiences.
We are not a counselling service, we provide mentorship and lived
experience. Sometimes just having someone to talk to who has been
through the same situations and circumstances as the veterans (current
and ex-serving) helps in a big way.
We match service to service, experiences to experiences.
